Our Team

Buglight is a freelance-led company, made up of core members Keeley Lane and Richard Galloway. We work closely with a creative producer and other fantastic creatives on a project-by-project basis. We also work with a variety of organisations and local communities to develop our film and theatre work.

Keeley Lane

Artistic Director

Keeley is a multi-disciplinary creative working as a director, actor & producer. She trained for her MA in Acting at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She is passionate about creating opportunities in the regions and diversity in media and the arts. Keeley works across theatre, tv and film on both scripted and non scripted productions.

Keeley has been awarded Arts Council England, Developing Your Creative Practice funding to upskill & upscale her directing skills with a focus on access and inclusion.

Richard Galloway

Artistic Director

Richard is a Northern Irish actor and workshop facilitator. He moved to England to train as an actor at Bretton Hall. He has performed with companies such as Lyric Theatre, Belfast, Cardboard Citizens, Red Ladder, Contexture Theatre, Bad Apple, Common Chorus, The Plays The Thing, and filmed the lead role in feature film Black Daruma (Far North Films), as well as a supporting role in The Tide (BFI short film-2019) and The Canterbury Tales, 2018.

Richard is a passionate workshop leader and has experience working with both children and adults with different access needs.
